Gloria

I met a new blogger yesterday. She left a comment on my post and I went to her blog. Her name is Becki.

In Becki's post she was talking about her Aunt Gloria who is dying with cancer. It was such a beautiful tribute to this dear lady and it reminded me of the first porcelain doll I made. I loved the name Gloria so I named this doll Gloria.

I think I improved greatly on the rest of the dolls I made, but this one is especially precious to me since it's the first one. I've changed her hair and her clothes since I took this picture, but this is how she originally looked. By the way, if you're new to viewing my blog, you might want to scroll down to the very bottom to see a scrapbook of the dolls I've made.

Have a great day!

  1. What a pretty doll, and name to suit her. I will go visit your friend's blog. How sad that her aunt is dying. I'd like to see her tribute. Kathi
