I'm a Winner

So, the mail truck stopped in front of our house. I assumed it was to bring Clif a book because that is what is usually delivered to our house. But no. It wasn't even a package for Clif at all. It was a package for me. Then I remembered that I had won a giveaway from Linda http://lmarandomcreativity.blogspot.com/ and I could hardly wait to open it. Here's what the package contained.

Wow, I haven't journaled in some time, but now I intend to begin again. Thank you, Linda for your thoughtful and beautiful creation.

Linda wrote this on the first page.

And here was the lovely card enclosed.

Love this tag as well. Wow.

Wow, the blessings just continue to flow for me. I am sooo very blessed. If you aren't familiar with Linda's blog, I suggest you go there. There is no end to her creativity.
p.s. Thanks, Linda. I scanned my name on the envelope for a signature. I like it.

ANGEL TAG

I want to take this means to publicly thank Cindy Adkins for the lovely angel tag she made for Clif and me. It arrived in today's mail. Cindy is an artist and a writer. She has a beautiful blog. If you are not familiar with it, I hope you will go there and pay her a visit. She is a lovely lady. I Owe It All To Him is the name of her blog. You can click on that name to go there.

THANK YOU KELEE

I posted about the beautiful gift I received yesterday from Kelee Katillac on my other blog ~ Charlotte's Weblog.

So if you have not read the post on my other blog, here is what that beautiful package contained. Wow, it's a Waterford crystal angel.

Now to find the perfect place to display her.

For right now she is sitting on a shelf on the hutch in our dinette/kitchen/family room (maybe it would be called a great room. I'm not sure what to call it.) I kind of like the effect of the glass cubes behind her. I'm always changing things though so I may find a more perfect place for my beautiful angel.

This was a thank you gift from Kelee for my participation as co-host of Spiritual Sundays for her Miracle Makeover for Colette. If you don't know about this event, and I'd be surprised if you don't, please go visit the Katillac Shack and read all about it and see the beautiful pictures of the makeover room.

SOMETHING SPECIAL

There is something very special going to happen next weekend. Spiritual Sundays, Pink Saturdays, and many bloggers are helping to promote it. You may have already heard about it. You can read about it in the September issue of Guideposts Magazine.

Colette was given a 5 - 15% chance of surviving cancer. That is when Kelee Katillac and her crew stepped in and transformed her dismal abode and helped facilitate a miracle. Read more about it and find out details of the big event that will be taking place August 27th, 28th and 29th. If you have a blog and would like to link up to join this party, you can do that through the Pink Saturday or Spiritual Sundays memes.

Kelee is doing a big GIVEAWAY in honor of this event as well. Everyone who comments at the Katillac Shack will be eligible for the wonderful gifts. They include a new Janome sewing machine, a beautiful floral painting, and subscriptions to Guideposts Magazine. I suggest you go right now to Kelee's blog to find out more information and to qualify to win one of these giveaways. Here is the link: http://www.katillacshack.com/

Be looking forward, as I am, to a video that will be posted next weekend about Colette's miracle. In the meantime, check back at the Katillac Shack during the week for any updates.

A GIFT FROM MY DAUGHTER

This morning, after church, my daughter surprised me with this delightful gift. She said it was a "get well" gift for my surgery. The stitches will come out tomorrow and I will look less like a Raggedy Ann doll. lol     She knows I like bunnies and she mentioned that Easter decorating would be coming soon. I am blessed to have such a thoughtful daughter. Thank you again, Carol.

Christmas in September

I was so excited when the mail lady delivered a large box to our front door today. I knew what it was because I had been expecting it. Remember I told you a few days ago that I had won the one year bloggerversary giveaway from Sue at Beautiful Pear Tree Lane? As I am writing this I'm listening to the beautiful Rest & Relaxation music. It's a beautiful blend of music and ocean surf. I love it. This CD was part of the giveaway. I haven't seen all the blog giveaways, of course, but I really doubt any have been any better than this one. In fact, I doubt any have been as good. I will be pampering myself (Sue's suggestion) for a long time with all of these items. Of course the chocolate bar may not last too long. LOL. Here are the photos I took.

I love that Sue wrapped the packages in Christmas paper. It really made it seem like Christmas. I've always loved Christmas.

And here's our tub where I plan to really relax and take advantage of the "Me time."
Thank you again, Sue, for being so generous, and thank your dear Hubby again for me for drawing my name. I hope everyone reading this will go visit Beautiful Pear Tree Lane. You can click HERE to go there. I know you will find it delightful.

THANK YOU GINGER

I continue to find new things to be thankful for. Ginger surprised me with this wonderful gift that just came in the mail. She knows I love Thomas Kinkade, and I love this Kinkade mug. I can hardly wait to try the Pumpkin Spice coffee. I know I will like it. And isn't that a cute little card? It looks like a real cup of tea. Ginger is not only a relative, but a great blogging friend. Thank you so much, Ginger.
