I'm a little late in posting this, but I was looking for a picture of our daughter to post because today is her birthday. As I was looking at old birthday pictures, I ran across this one of her with a blue elephant birthday cake that was taken many years ago. I won't say how many. Then I thought, I'll share this for her birthday and also for Blue Monday.
Hubby posted about her birthday on his blog with an up-to-date photo of her. You can view it by clicking HERE. She has always been such a joy for both of us.
Happy Birthday to Carol!
Happy Blue Monday Everybody!

Of course Sally is our hostess for Blue Monday each week. You can go to her blog by clicking HERE.

It's hard to tell since you are both blessed with the beautiful silver in your hair.....not everyone gets that color to be so beautiful you know! But you all BOTH have it!! :)

ReplyDeleteI dearly love to teach God's Word, but trust me-I am "all over the place" when I teach and I wear myself out!! But I am driven for passion for the things of the Lord, so it is one habit I am not trying to break!! Blessings.
Charlotte,

Beautiful daughter and memory of fun days! I actually was asked by my daughter to make her a Halloween costume "like my first grade one," she said. I remember the night I stayed up late, sewing a black sack - a Goodie Sack - for her to walk around in. All you could see was her little legs. The draw string was above her head. She is now 28!! And I did have to stay up late again to fix it the night before we were going to see her. We never did much Halloween but I did let them wear a costume for their school party.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter was a cutie. Reminds me of a cabbage patch cake I had made for my daughter when she was about 5. She is now 29! Wow...where does time go?
ReplyDeleteHopped on over to your husbands blog and saw her up to date picture. She is a beauty. I know you all are proud of her.
Happy Birthday wishes to her.
Hugs, Tara
